Kate Todd Coaching and Counselling
Kate Todd – Registered Counsellor (NZAC) , Executive Coach (IECL 2) and CDC Divorce and Separation Coach, Recovery and Transition Coach. Also trained in Collaborative Practice NZ.
Kate’s journey into Divorce Coaching began after navigating the challenging terrain of her own divorce and wishing there had been better support available. Despite having a wonderful lawyer, she found the process of unravelling a 30 year relationship to be exhausting and at times daunting – “I wish I had had someone outside my family and friends network to support me in making sense of this new life”.
Over the years, Kate has had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, each facing their unique set of circumstances. From amicable separations to high-conflict divorces, she has witnessed the full spectrum of emotions and challenges that come with this life transition.
Her approach is deeply rooted in empathy and empowerment. She believes in providing a safe space for her clients to explore their feelings, fears, and aspirations. Through personalized coaching sessions, Kate guides her clients in uncovering their strengths, reclaiming their agency, and envisioning a brighter future beyond divorce.
As a professional supervisor, Kate takes pride in mentoring other dedicated divorce coaches, ensuring they uphold the same standards of compassion and professionalism that she holds dear. Professional supervision involves a structured process where guidance, support, and feedback is provided on a regular , on-going basis. Kate aims to enhance the supervisee’s professional development, improve their practice, and ensure ethical standards are maintained.
Together, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those navigating this difficult chapter.
